Phan`s Garden Restaurant in Milwaukee

AWESOME!!!! Parents used to take me here when I was a child and to this day, it is my "go-to" Asian restaurant. Every friend I've introduced to this restaurant loved it here. I've never once had a bad experience visiting Phan's Garden - would totally recommend Phan's to anyone seeking an oriental restaurant. Favorite dish is B14 hands down! Their pho definitely comes in second place.

Just okay. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a small of air freshener in the entryway. There was also a renuixit air freshener on the counter about 2 feet from our table. The food was okay; not bad, but not great. I frankly felt it was a bit pricey for what it was.

The Asian community from Marquette University eats here. My former dentist brought his visiting parents too. If the Milwaukee native Asian community thinks it's good, you gotta go!

Starting to get pricey and the building need a lot of update and I mean a lot of update. I wish they hired people so it looks more professional.

The food was very good. I had some crab rangoon and spring rolls. The crab rangoon was light and crispy just the way I like it. The spring rolls were fresh and clean tasting. The hostess was very nice and attentive. Overall, a good experience.

Authtic..Best Pho Ga in town!! The peanut sauce that goes with their wonderful spring rolls is absolutely the best! Anything here is great!

One of the greatest hidden Asian restaurant's in Milwaukee. If you find yourself in the area you will be happy to have stopped by and ate there. Great service.

Phan's Garden Restaurant is 10 STARS to me and my daughter!! They have the most incredible Pho and shrimp fried rice and spring rolls !!!!!! Everything on the menu is incredible to us!!!

They have some awesomely fresh Spring Rolls, I've had them at other places but, they never compare to Phan's Garden. My husband makes Spring Rolls at home and they're great but, even his don't come close to Phan's Garden.

Love this place! Love the people. My favorite is the Canh Chua. My wife and I order this every time.

This restaurant has a special place in my heart. My father used to eat here even before I was born, and ever since I was a little kid he would always take me here for lunch. The Beef Pho is really good and I get it every time. Best Vietnamese food in the Milwaukee area. Definitely recommend!

Great mom and pop restaurant. beautiful interior and exterior design very historical, huge excellent food huge portions fresh yummy food. The sweet people are excellent at what they do and love to see you come in. It is a great warm feeling and this place needs to be known as one of the best Asian food restaurants in Milwaukee. Very close to River street and they have free off road parking. 2 buildings from gas station / car wash.

My husband and I have been long time customers since we started dating 10 years ago. Phan's is "our place". We've been coming in so regularly that most of the staff knows us and knows what we usually order so we don't even need menus. We feel at home here and the staff takes great care of us. This past December my husband was getting over being very sick and we decided to visit Phan's for some Pho that I swear can cure cancer. The older lady who works there and knows us quite well was so sweet and promised she'd help my hubby feel better. She brought him hot water with lemon and I swear the Pho was better than the awesome it always is. She really did get him feeling better. Phan's is a wonderful place. We'll be customers for as long as their doors are open.

Best Pho Soup ever!!!

Classic Milwaukee institution. No, every dish is no screamingly authentic, and yes there is kung pao chicken on the menu, but the prices are low, the staff is nice, and the food is great. I support this place 100%.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! I order 1 pho and had tips added, in the first place I was going to give the guy more than he was requesting, but what made me upset was that when I asked about the "Service fee/tip" being added, he became extremely rude & basically admitted that HE PROFILES clients, and if he seems they look like they won't "tip well" he adds that...THAT IS SO ILLEGAL! and INCORRECT Plus the place looks dirty and stinks... better places to eat in Milwaukee, save your money!

~Beware of FORCED SERVICE TIP FEE~Food was good ... However we were charged a Forced service tip fee and that is illegal....We were a family of 4 .......Charge was 12.50.tip service fee... This Restaurant will be reported....Always look at your bill.......This is not right... This Bussiness will NEVER prosper when you try to trick people.........I should have took a picture of the over priced fees.....unreal!!!!.......trust reviews!!!!

Not a large restaurant; not a high end restaurant but...you come for the food and Phan's Garden does not disappoint. Family operated, these taste like homemade recipes not something a chain would produce. Note: there are steps to climb so it is best to contact them about handicap accessibility.

Love the food there, but not the fish sauce tho. Went there last Wednesday for my first time with my daughter and her boyfriend. I had the Porkchop with shrimp platter, mmmm it was delicious. He had a spicy soup & my daughter had the noodles. They have a great staff and beautiful environment restaurant. It has a fish tank in there, too. Loved it and i recommend it to family and friends.

I love phans. I have been going since I was born and my parents were going before I was born. They are amazing people and have amazing food!

This place has been around for over 20 yrs. ALL my kids grew up eating in this restaurant. The food is ALWAYS GOOD!

Pho portion are not good for the price. Paid $13 for the large pho and it seemed like a regular size. The regular size is also small compared to many pho places around town. They only put beef brisket in their pho, no meat ball or any other different type of meats....

Authentic food at a mostly reasonable price, kind staff

My first time here, it was good experience. Service was good and the B-14 in my opinion was ROCKIN. Same with the house specialty fried rice.

Mo Pho 🍜 is the waaaaaaay to go. Best in MKE, in my opinion.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food! Some dishes are a bit pricey, but you rarely find them in other Vietnamese restaurants. My favorite is roasted quail and I try to get some whenever I'm in town. I recommend starting with the dishes in pictured menu, except the seafood soup.

I have been going to Phan’s for a long time and I never had a chance to write a review. Phan’s is a great place for family and friends. Great customer service. Great foods for everyone! I love Phan’s.

Very nice older couple running the restaurant and the variety of Vietnamese food offered is surprising for a Vietnamese restaurant in Milwaukee. The interior is surprisingly nice compared to the outside of the building. I had a very enjoyable lunch here and will come back in the future.

Ate at Phan’s for the first time 3 months ago and have gotten it at least 4 times since! I usually get it to go because I work nearby, and I HIGHLY recommend the fried noodles. They give you big portions that won’t disappoint! The egg rolls are also delicious. Definitely recommend giving Phan’s a try!

This place is drastically better than it appears; the food was amazing. The entire menu appeared solid and I plan to return for more.
